Response to COVID-19 Shutdown

COVID-19 School Shutdown Response

In the event of a whole school shutdown due to COVID-19. Shorncliffe will follow the processes below to communicate and assist families.

1. Whole school communication to come from Principal informing of an onsite shutdown.

              -All correspondence will come to email address attached to class email groups.

2. Classroom teachers will contact families to explain learning@home for their class.

              -This will be a mix of online and offline learning tasks linked to the current unit of work.

              -Classroom teachers will be available for support via email.

-Ongoing communication and support will include phone contact by classroom teachers to all students.

3. The Diverse Learning team will contact DL students and provide adjusted work programs where appropriate.

4. The school will utilise the school's Facebook page, class email addresses and eflashes to send out updates and messages to the community. ​
