Our STEM program for students in Years 2–6 offers rich, hands-on learning delivered by a specialist STEM teacher. Students engage in meaningful, real-world challenges that guide them through every stage of the design process—questioning, planning, creating, testing and refining their ideas.
The program is intentionally designed to develop the 6C’s: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, character and citizenship. Students learn to work effectively with others, persist through challenges, and take responsibility for their learning.
Learning experiences make use of a wide range of resources, including digital tools such as iPads, 3D printer, robots and microcontrollers, as well as non-digital tools like construction materials, craft resources, simple machines and recycled materials. This balanced approach allows students to prototype, experiment and problem-solve in multiple ways.
Through this engaging program, students build confidence, curiosity and essential future-focused skills in a supportive and innovative learning environment.
